Liveworx is PTC’s marquee event held in Boson, MA that features discussions about future ideas, innovations and how early adopters are finding new ways to use existing tools and platforms that find new value born from the industrial Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence.

As the Director of Corporate Events for PTC, Devin Cleary wanted to create an event for his customers, partners and suppliers that provided that same sort of innovative and cutting edge feel that PTC was all about. He knew it was critical to find support for this international event and drive a high-energy, shareable and memorable experience for four days.
There was an extremely short runway from conception to event open in 2016, and T3 Expo jumped right in to become an integral part of the solution and success.
It was important for T3 Expo to invest in the PTC brand too, and Devin was also impressed that the company took the time to understand the event, the products and provide strategic counseling, recommendations and collaboration regularly.
“Anything I needed, they would make it happen,” said Cleary. “They were flexible and timely and that was critical for us given our incredible time constraints. They always seemed to figure out a way to make it happen, and they were happy to do it too! Working with T3 was a breath of fresh air.”
T3 Expo worked around the clock for PTC to support their event. As an extension of the PTC team it was crucial to the T3 Expo Eventineers to solve problems, put themselves in Cleary’s shoes and drive seamless execution. Cleary stated that he often felt like T3 Expo’s only client because of the customer services and level of support he received on a regular basis.
With 10 years of experience in the industry, Cleary was not just looking for an event partner for Liveworx, but also one that brought credibility to the table; could become an extension of his team; provide quality of design and concept; and great customer service — all at an affordable pricing.
“Most firms will nickel and dime you – especially if you have a quick turn around time,” said Cleary. “This was not the case with T3 Expo. Working with T3, the pricing was extremely competitive. I understand they need to make a profit, but the markups were not what I expected compared to others in the industry. As the saying goes, I got lots of bang for the buck and we never sacrificed quality for cost.”

In the end, PTC exceeded attendance, exhibitors and pipeline expectations.
