T3 Expo Spotlight: Eventgineer and Account Executive Laura Burce

1. What initially drew you to the event and trade show industry?laura burce

As a middle-school student, I attended a buying show with my parents who own a small business and was fascinated by the entire experience. From the vendors to the amount of attendees and everything in between – event registration, the show “map,” and of course the amenities – I couldn’t believe the size and scope of the event. Needless to say, I was hooked!

2. What do you love most about your job? Working at T3?

I love working with all of our passionate team members. From start to finish, everyone is all in on an event no matter how big or small.  We are a creative and dynamic team with a strong bond, much like that of a family.

3. What do you think sets T3 apart from other trade show producers?

T3 Expo is committed to making our clients’ dreams come true. We possess unparalleled creativity when it comes to design innovation and implementation which really sets us apart from the competition.

4. What future innovation are you most looking forward to in the event and trade show industry?

This year, I noticed both associations and corporate clients have done a great job enticing attendees to events and continuing to engage once they are there. Additionally, both groups are doing a great job of retaining and growing the amount of people who attend their respective events. While it is not necessarily an innovation in and of itself, I am excited to see the ideas clients create to generate more attendee excitement thus increasing turnout.

On a technological side, I would love to see more done with interactive demos. I am continually impressed by our clients’ creative, out of the box ideas for these types of innovations, and it is great to be able to work with them to bring these ideas to fruition. For selfish reasons, I would like to see more surprise product launches, as it is fun to know of these surprises in advance and help create the suspense. Lastly, I would like to see more done with live music.

5. Outside of work, what activities or hobbies do you enjoy?

When I’m managing events, I enjoy a variety of activities: cooking, baking, hosting Friday Happy Hour with my neighbors, and playing imaginative games with my 2-year-old!
