What makes a good partnership? Good partnerships are formed based on several key factors: mutual trust, being a good listener and communicator, being supportive, and being attuned to needs.
When you think about your business partner, do they possess these traits? T3 Expo knows that these are difficult times and we are all dealing with the stress of not knowing when the Coronavirus pandemic will slow down. We are stressed about potential sick family members, the kids home from school, the loss of income and business. And, when you have a strong partnership, it is critical to turn to that partner in times like these for help.
T3 Expo is that good partner. We know your show might not be for another four months, and there is still uncertainty about whether it will go on or be postponed. You want to know, what is my exposure?
Please know that T3 Expo is committed to you and our partnership. This will all end some day, and we will work together again in a new way. Whether it is 60 or 90 days from now. But in the meantime, we want you to know that we will work with you. We want to give you time to make a decision about your show, its postponement and we aren’t going to hit you over the head with an overcharged bill. We are not taking a punitive approach to the situation we are all in. We practice the ethics of reciprocity or the Golden Rule and feel that is the best approach to these uncharted waters we are all swimming in.
In time, we might have more visibility to the state of our business and the state of your event or show. Time will enable thoughtful decisions and provide us with the relevant information to help make choices about our future together.
Keep this in mind at this time:
1.) We are not hitting the stop button on planning for future shows.
2.) We will work with you as partners to determine a fair review of incurred expense if your show is cancelled.
3.) We refuse to charge our clients full price for any cancelled shows.
Let’s continue our partnership together. Because that is what great partnerships are all about, in good times and bad!
